AC Stip’s General Rules and Regulations

The American Corner Shtip (ACS) membership is FREE OF CHARGE! In order to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for reading, learning and other ACS activities, American Corner Shtip requires all visitors to comply the following General Rules and Regulations: The following are NOT allowed at American Corner Stip: Engaging in conduct that disrupts or interferes with normal operation of the ACS, or that disturbs staff or other ACS visitors. Such conduct includes:

• Harassing or threatening behaviors,
• Using obscene or abusive language or gestures,
• Making unreasonable noise, including talking on a cell phone loudly
• Photography and recording are not allowed on the ACS premises
• Damaging, defacing, or misusing any ACS materials or property.
• Engaging in any activity in violation of the ACS policies

Members who do not follow the ACS General Rules and Regulations can be asked to leave the ACS premises and can lose their ACS privileges.

Privacy Policy

The American Corner Shtip values your privacy. We protect your personal information by keeping our library records confidential.

E-mails/Newsletter

When you become a member, your e-mail is automatically added to our mailing list and you will periodically receive e-mails/e-newsletters: updates, our monthly programs, information about interesting events etc. Members can stop receiving these by notifying American Corner Shtip staff.

Photographs

Participants and Volunteers at ACS events grant absolute right and permission to ACS, or its assignees to use any photographic images, video recordings and audio, taken of themselves and/or their minor children, for publication or distribution through any media whatsoever, including the Internet, for editorial, advertising or promotional purposes, as determined by either ACS or its assignees. If you do not want you picture taken, please inform AC Staff before the beginning of the event.
