AMERICAN CORNER STRUGA POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Membership

Members of American Corner Struga (ACS) obtain the privilege to use the resources of the Corner designated for public use, and to participate in relevant Corner programs. Membership is free of charge, and valid indefinitely. If you no longer wish to be an ACS member, please inform AC staff or email struga@americancornersnmk.org

Use of Library Resources

AC Members can loan books, magazines and DVDs, designated for public use. Resources are checked out for 14, 7, and 2 days respectively. AC staff deliver loan extension instructions upon check-out.
Members can loan more than one item, based on proven track record of regular returns. Lost and damaged items should be replaced with appropriate ones. Members are not allowed to lend loaned items to other persons. Members failing to manage loaned items responsibly can lose their ACS privileges, temporarily or permanently.
AC Members can use library reference materials at the Corner only.
AC Members receive exclusive access to the eLibraryUSA online database. Check with AC staff whether you are eligible for a personal account. If not, you can access it using the computers at the Corner.
AC Members can use the Corner computers designated for public users, for educational and academic, non-commercial purposes. Contact AC staff to check for availability or to reserve a time slot.

Participation in Corner Programs

AC Members can attend events organized by the Corner, free of charge. Programs are advertised on the ACNM website, on social media and via an e-Newsletter. Admission to programs can be on a “first-come, first-served” basis, through an application process, or upon invitation.

Privacy Policy

American Corner Struga values your privacy. We protect your personal information by keeping our library records confidential. Please inform AC staff of any change of personal information, such as email or phone.

Newsletter

AC Members can choose to subscribe to American Corner Struga’s e-Newsletter, delivered to the email address listed on the membership form. Newsletters are tailored to the interests of the member, as stated on the membership form. Members can change their preferences or unsubscribe at any point, by either informing ACS staff, emailing struga@americancornersnmk.org, or clicking the Unsubscribe button at the end of the e-Newsletter.

Participants and volunteers at AC events grant absolute right and permission to AC, or its assignees to use any photographic images, video recordings, and audio, taken of themselves and/or their minor children, for publication or distribution through any media whatsoever, including the internet, for editorial, advertising or promotional purposes, as determined by either AC or its assignees. If you do not want your picture taken, please inform ACS staff before the beginning of the event.
